Jen-Hung Liang views life as a constantly changing process rather than a fixed form. Inspired by the Möbius strip, with its continuous surface and no true beginning or end, he explores the interconnectedness of opposing forces. His practice has evolved from “artificial energy” to “natural energy.” Since 1999, he has used kinetic mechanical installations to reflect on industrial society, later incorporating natural forces through outdoor and community-based projects. Through machinery, energy, and nature, Liang examines the relationships between order and chaos, the artificial and the natural, and cycles of transformation.
