Compound
The "Compound" series employs weaving techniques to craft silver threads into forms resembling unicellular organisms. These forms extend and proliferate as if through asexual reproduction, creating irregular bubbles of silver mesh that slowly wriggle and expand within transparent boxes. The objects encased within seem to be attempts to cover up wounds, yet their delicate nature cannot withstand any external force, revealing the inherent sadness and helplessness that often accompany beautiful life.
When lines become symbolic, they serve as tools for communication, thought, and emotional expression to those who can receive their messages. They become the most persuasive representatives of symbolism. The beauty of curves is a product of discovering the will of life's activities in nature, manifesting the energy of vitality and the momentum of dominant concepts in form. The rationality of creating with various composite media naturally follows. At the same time, Art Nouveau embodies elements of symbolism and aestheticism, breaking the boundaries of traditional Western aesthetics and revolutionizing art. It also serves as the minimalist framework post-20th century, shaping the abstract beauty of geometric forms. The "Compound" series uses freeform curves as the foundation of its creation, utilizing encasing materials to narrate the story of life.
