Chen Hong-Qun, Echo XIV – Afterglow
This work continues the artist's exploration of dimensions, time, and space, transforming confections into fundamental modules that construct a personal "object universe." Countless meticulously colored macarons in the composition are arranged, floating, and circulating with order like cosmic particles. Set against warm, subtle gradients reminiscent of a sunset afterglow, they build a display theater sealed within time. The work subtly blends contemporary consumer symbols with precise geometric structures, guiding viewers at the intersection of rational order and emotional memory to pierce through the surface of objects and gaze upon the deeper dimensions of existence and perception.
