In the "Yellow River Hymn" series, the artist chooses the purest ochre as the soul of the painting - this not only the color of the Yellow River, but also the breath and pulse of the land that has been accumulating for a thousand years. The painting uses direct painting method, so every stroke is full of the present emotion and power: ochre is interwoven and superimposed repeatedly on the canvas, and is piled up and covered in thick places, rich texture. The brush moves on the canvas, which pursues the sense of breathing of the brushstroke: there is the magnificent charm of the painting; and there is the subtle exquisite dot dyeing, capturing the light and color of the flowing water. This work is the artist's most simple tribute to the mother river. It does not pursue flashy, but with the most sincere painting language, let the color grow naturally on the canvas, and let the soul of the Yellow River awaken in the purity of ochre - that the lullaby of civilization, the memory of the earth, and the hometown that never fades in the depths of the blood of every Shanxi child.
