The Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center (TICEC) was funded by the Taichung City Government and is operated by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). It is located in the Shuinan Economic and Trade Park in Taichung, adjacent to major landmarks such as Central Park, Taichung Green Museumbrary, and Shuinan Transit Center. As Taiwan’s first international convention and exhibition center built within a park, TICEC features a design inspired by the concept of the ""Tree Gate"", seamlessly connecting the Exhibition Hall and the Convention Center, creating a modern and eco-friendly event space.Strategically positioned as Central Taiwan’s premier convention and exhibition hub, TICEC is close to Taichung Port and Taichung International Airport, with easy access to highways that link Taiwan’s key industrial corridors. The center is also surrounded by Taichung Industrial Park, the Precision Machinery Innovation Park, and industrial clusters extending to Changhua and Nantou, covering sectors such as machinery, metalworking, optoelectronics, automotive components, and green energy. This robust industrial ecosystem provides strong support for various business and trade activities.
